Queensland Advocacy Incorporated (QAI) – If you have a disability that has connected you to the criminal justice system and there is no other more suitable service to assist you, Queensland Advocacy Incorporated (QAI) has a Justice Support Program to help you to get legal advice or representation, try to resolve an issue and help you to comply with court orders. The advocate appointed by QAI can help find legal and community services to support you, and stay in the community and help stop any further instances with the criminal justice system.

Prisoners Legal Service (PLS) offers free legal advice, information, assistance and referrals to Queensland prisoners. PLS can assist you if you are in prison and require assistance in parole application, prison matters or financial counselling. They cannot provide advice or presentation to you about any criminal charges.
