Complaints
If you feel that you have been subject to discrimination because of your communication difficulties, you may wish to lodge a complaint with the Queensland Human Rights Commission. You may choose another person to make the complaint for you if you cannot, or do not want to, do so yourself.
Complaints must include:
- Your name, address and telephone number
- The name and contact details of the person you are complaining about
- What happened, when it happened and who was involved
- Why you think the person has treated you unfavorably

Queensland Braille Writing Association (Braille House) is a voluntary association of people specializing in tactual literacy. Braille House provides the following services:
- Library – a free lending library of braille and moon books
- Transcribers – produce books and other resources in braille for children and adults, students of all ages, organisations and government departments
- Tutoring – for adults who wish to become touch readers of braille or moon script
