Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans Intersex Legal Service Inc

Prisoners Legal Service Inc

PLS is a free service to prisoners providing assistance with respect to:-

  • Parole applications including refusals and breaches of parole;
  • Prison matters including security classifications and review of QCS decisions; and
  • Financial counselling.

Queensland Advocacy Incorporated (QAI) is an independent, community based systems advocacy organisation for People with Disability.

Refugee and Immigration Legal Service Inc

RAILS is an independent not-for-profit community legal centre specialising in refugee and immigration law. It provides free legal advice and assistance to disadvantaged people. RAILS provides legal help to people who have cases before the Department of Immigration, Migration Review Tribunal, Refugee Review Tribunal and sometimes take cases of public interest to the courts. However, RAILS has a small staff and cannot take on all cases. Our minimal resources do not allow us to take on many genuine cases in need.

The South West Brisbane CLC offers basic assistance & advice in a range of legal matters including: Family Law; Minor Civil; Motor vehicle accidents (property damage only); Wills & Enduring Powers of Attorney; Child Protection issues & Youth Criminal (including representation for under 18’s).

The Centre is staffed on a full time basis. Services include legal advice, referral & community legal education.

Youth Advocacy Centre Inc.
